Can you use Pell grants if you have bad credit?
By Admin | March 18, 2009
For young people, Pell grants are very important for financing their education. Every semester, many students receive money from the government and it is this money that pays for their schooling. Because of the Pell grants and the students’ loan programs, many students, including those with poor back grounds are able to make it through school.
However, lately the prevailing financial crisis has affected the credit of many students, with a lot getting dinged. Since jobs are so hard to come by and the wages have increasingly reduced ,many students are left wondering if they will continue enjoying the financial aid even if their credit are hit.
There is good news for them, they will continue to receive. Since federal financial aid is usually not affected by credit, Pell grants as well as student loans are provided even to the people affected by bad credit. Your worries should therefore be no more!
